Good beer reference from "All About Beer" magazine
I've been a subscriber to "All About Beer" magazine for a few years. I just received their special bonus issue which is a tagged "All you need to know to choose a good beer". It has a section for every style of beer, discussing the history, ingredients, brewing style, properties, drinking characteristics and proper vessels for serving. It also gives examples of the best producers of each. I don't know if it is for sale as a stand alone item, but it should be. It is in magazine format, but would be a great coffee table book.
