Favorite Beers & Breweries

I'm a Michigan native, so Bell's beers will always be among my favorites. My all-time favorite beer is Bell's Hopslam!, which is only brewed for about two months every year. I love extra hopped imperial IPAs like Harpoon's Leviathan. That being said, I tend to favor stouts, especially Founder's Breakfast Stout, Mendocino Brewing Company's Blackhawk, and Brooklyn's Black Chocolate. I always look forward to fall, when the weather becomes perfect for drinking my favorite dark brews. In general, I go for balanced to hoppy beer - I don't usually go for the sweeter notes of malty porters and nut browns.

Favorite Place to Drink Beer

My neighborhood bar, Fries Café, has a great selection of beer and a very friendly atmosphere. Aside from that, I'm happy to hang out with family and friends wherever we can get together with some good beer.

Best Beer Memory that You Can Remember!

The first time I tried Bell's Hopslam was like a revelation.
