- Berlinerweiss is a favorite this time of year... it is hot and humid out, and this beer style, with or without woodruff (waldmeister) syrup, is about as thirst quenching as it gets. An adult lemonade, lowAB, tart and refreshing. I love all sorts of beer styles and an fond of too many breweries to take sides (and I work for Rogue, my brother is with Elysian, so I am a beer geeks geek) My selection depends on what I am eatting, where I am at, etc. I can always find a beer to fit my mood and my palette!

- Earth Day 2000, at the Blue Tusk in Syracuse, drinking a pint of vintage Rogue Russian Imperial Stout, infused with Rogue Kriek (John Maier brewed this once, a sub,ime cherry lambic that Mike Yorkin stashed for this event. ) A local coffee roaster stopped by with a French Press of his freshly roasted/brewed mocha java....which we had to put into the RIS/Kriek blend, our own variaton on an Irish Car Bomb
